The IT Project Manager will lead and coordinate technology initiatives across the organization, with a primary focus on enterprise system implementations, upgrades, integrations, and process improvements. This role will partner closely with business leaders, IT teams, and external vendors to ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.

The ideal candidate has 3–5 years of IT project management experience, strong cross-functional communication skills, and experience working with ERP systems. Experience supporting SAP implementations, upgrades, or related projects is strongly preferred.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Plan, manage, and deliver IT projects on time, within scope, and within budget.
  • Manage the full project lifecycle, including initiation, planning, execution, monitoring, implementation, and closeout.
  • Partner with business stakeholders, IT teams, and external vendors or consultants on ERP and other enterprise technology initiatives.
  • Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, budgets, resource requirements, milestones, and deliverables.
  • Identify project risks, issues, dependencies, and roadblocks; develop and execute appropriate mitigation plans.
  • Facilitate project meetings, status updates, stakeholder discussions, and steering committee reviews.
  • Manage project scope and change requests, ensuring appropriate documentation, communication, and approvals.
  • Coordinate user acceptance testing (UAT), end-user training, implementation readiness, and go-live activities.
  • Ensure projects follow established IT governance standards, documentation requirements, and company policies.
  • Prepare and present project status updates, risks, milestones, and key decisions to leadership and project stakeholders.
  • Manage relationships with vendors and consultants, including project deliverables, timelines, and contractual commitments.
  • Manage multiple concurrent projects and priorities while maintaining clear communication with stakeholders.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business, Project Management, or a related field; equivalent professional experience may be considered.
  • 3–5 years of experience managing IT or technology-related projects.
  • Experience supporting ERP implementation, upgrade, integration, or optimization projects. SAP experience is preferred; experience with Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, NetSuite, or other ERP platforms will also be considered.
  • Strong understanding of project management methodologies, including Waterfall, Agile, and/or hybrid approaches.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Strong organizational, problem-solving, and prioritization skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Experience using project management and collaboration tools such as Microsoft Project, Smartsheet, Jira, or similar platforms.
  • Ability to build relationships and work effectively across IT, business functions, leadership teams, and external partners.
Preferred Qualifications
  • PMP, CAPM, or similar project management certification.
  • Experience participating in SAP implementation, upgrade, integration, or optimization projects.
  • Familiarity with SAP modules such as FICO, MM, PP, SD, or other relevant modules.
  • Experience working in construction, manufacturing, industrial, or energy services environments.
  • Familiarity with organizational change management and user adoption practices.
