The Regional Environmental Health & Safety Manager will demonstrate accountability for functional, business, and broad company objectives. Personnel in this role will integrate and develop safety procedures and processes that meet business needs across the organization, manage complex issues within functional area(s) of expertise, be involved in long-term planning, and contribute to the overall business strategy. Frequent contact with field operations and customer representatives concerning safety programs and rollout, scheduling requirements, or contractual clarification. Conducts briefings and technical meetings for internal and external representatives.

Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) program and initiates and influences integration of EHS policies and practices into the business unit
- Manage activities, which drive compliance with EHS regulation and company policies
- Maintain expert knowledge of existing and proposed regulations
- Staff, manage, and evaluate site safety personnel within business unit
- Provide input to and assist in the management of department budgets
- Ensure effective education programs are in place
- Lead business in complying with all applicable EHS rules, regulations and Enerfab policies.
- Provide technical guidance to help facilitate all corporate field training initiatives
- Interface professionally with company associates, customers, government officials and the public in all areas of environment, health and safety
- Analyze data to assess environment, health and safety challenges, and to develop approaches to control loss and risk
- Work with supervision/management on accurate and timely incident investigations and determine root cause (near miss, injury, illness and property damage)
- The ability to edit and author site specific safety programs for operations within his/her operational control.
- Establish, maintain, and evaluate sampling programs for confined space, personnel and environmental assessments.
- The ability to interpret laboratory reports
- Perform assessments and determine personal protective equipment requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university
- Minimum of 5 years of progressively responsible EHS experience
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in an EHS leadership role in a manufacturing, fabrication, electrical or construction environment
- 60-75% travel as required
